Make My Wish Come True
There are very few holiday songs that make you want to rock out in Christmas PJs while singing your heart into a make-shift microphone. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” is one of them. From the age of 14, I have dedicated this song to a different boy every December 1st and have sung my lungs out in their honor throughout the remainder of each Christmas season.
But the reason I love this song has nothing to do with school-girl crushes. It has everything to do with the people who have been around during past Christmas seasons to belt the words with me. There is nothing better than being in a room with people you love throwing their heads back and giving a shout out to Santa Clause with their best Mariah Carey impressions.
